Scheduling Entity. A scheduling entity is an administrative area responsible for scheduling a particular set of courses. Common examples of scheduling entities are departments or small colleges within a larger university.
Course Unit. Each instructional entity to be scheduled (other than faculty or rooms) is a course unit. Thus, a single course that has associated labs or recitation sections will have multiple course units.
Licence Types:A Single-Computer Scheduling License entitles you to install the software on one computer and use all the software features INCLUDING the ability to develop schedules.
A Site License allows you to install the software on a number of computers and access all the software features INCLUDING the ability to develop schedules.
When you purchase a Single-Computer license to ScheduleWhiz® Academic, you are licensing it for either one-year or INDEFINITE use on ONE computer for scheduling the courses of ONE scheduling entity. ScheduleWhiz® Academic only counts course units being offered for the term being scheduled.
Our single-computer license prices start at $1,320 for a one-year license and $2,828 for an indefinite license, for 100 course units. Pricing is based on increments of 25 course units.
When you purchase a Site Scheduling License to ScheduleWhiz® Academic, you are licensing it for either one-year or INDEFINITE use on up to 10 computers for scheduling the courses of ONE scheduling entity. ScheduleWhiz® Academic only counts course units being offered for the term being scheduled.
Our prices start at $2,639 for a one-year site license and $5,656 for an indefinite-duration site license, for 100 course units. Pricing is based on increments of 25 course units.
